Ronald is a Monitoring & Evaluation Practitioner with extensive experience in Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation of international emergency and development interventions across various thematic areas like child protection, health and nutrition, education, relief and social services to mention, with relevant academic and work competence.
He holds a Msc in Public Health Epidemiology, PGD in Monitoring & Evaluation, Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning & Management, Bachelor of Environmental Health Science- Makerere University School of Public Health, in Makerere University Kampala, Uganda and a Fellowship in M&E among other qualifications. He combines academic and job related experiences which have equipped him with excellent writing skills, strong research methodological competence, and a distinct research interest; in addition to exposing him to working with and providing technical leadership to many M&E practitioners.
Ronald’s professional experience is drawn from his works in various capacities with agencies such as: - Save the Children International, Afghanistan Country Programme - Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Manager – Afghanistan (12th May 2017-uptodate); United Nations Relief & Works Agency for the Palestine Refugees in the Near East - Monitoring & Evaluation Officer- Consultant (1st Feb 2016- Up-to- 10th-May-2017) Department of Planning-HQ Amman/Damascus Planning Unit; Save the Children International, Uganda Country Programme - Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist – Northern Uganda (1st February 2013-to-30th July 2014); Dutch Consortium for Rehabilitation (DCR)-PAMOJA Programme - Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist – DCR Secretariat Uganda (1st May 2012-to-30th January 2013); Medical Teams International- Uganda Country Programme - Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator – Malaria Control Project (1st September 2009-to-30th April 2012)
The other trainings that Ronald attained that adds on his professional capacities includes:- Monitoring & Evaluation Medium term fellowship- Makerere University School of Public Health and Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Uganda, Mentorship by both academic and institutional mentors for one year in M&E for HIV/AIDs; Results-Based Management (RBM) Advanced course - Sida Partnership Forum in Härnösand, Sweden and USAID-MEASURE Evaluation, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Fundamentals.
Ronald’s key achievements include: - Awarded a scholarship within the Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (August 2014) and admitted in the SI Network for Future Global Leaders, a network for scholarship holders and alumni; Awarded a Medium term fellowship grant to Streamline Youth HIV/AIDs data reporting between the private implementing organization and the District Health Management information system, year 2011/2012, supported by Makerere University School of Public Health and CDC.
