Patrick has a Msc in Construction law from and a B.Sc. Civil Eng. (Hons) with over six years, work experience in design, tender preparation in line with Uganda’s PPDA Procurement and Contract models (2014). Patrick also have excellent presentation, proposal preparation, writing and reporting skills coupled with ability to work in fast paced, multi-cultural having worked on various projects in Uganda, he is experienced in organising FIDIC Training in Uganda as well as other technical training programs for Construction professionals in Uganda under Uganda Association of Consulting Engineers.
Patrick has gone through a number of professional trainings, key among them includes:- Deep Foundations Designs to Euro Code 7, FIDIC Conditions of Contract – Modules 1, 2 and 3, Certificate in Urban Drainage, Certificate in Geotechnical Investigations, Soil/Slope Stabilization and Bridge Engineering Training, Certificate in Procurement and Contract Management, Fundamentals on Oil and Gas Exploration and Production.
Patrick has worked with several firms in various capacities, key among them are:- Civil Engineer with PROESS Limited, Asst. Project Officer with Uganda Association of Consulting Engineers, Graduate Engineer with Sustainable Sanitation and Water Renewal Sources, Site Engineer with Ken Goodwill Agency and Trainee Engineer with Uganda National Roads Authority

Additionally, he oversaw the following tasks: - Detailed Engineering Design for upgrading of 264km of 25 roads in Uganda under the District Livelihoods Support Program – Lot 1 of the Ministry of Local Government of Uganda. As part of the project oversaw the preparation of environmental assessments including preparation of Health, Safety and Environment Aspects; Periodic Maintenance of Amuria – Orungo Road (33km) Gravel Road in Amuria District; Rehabilitation of Masaka – Mbarara Road; Technical Audit of UHSSP Infrastructure Component in the Ministry of Health; Structural Assessment of an apartment in Makindye Division, Kampala, Proposed Ahadi Consortium Institutional and Commercial Development; Assessing causes Flooding at Albertine Apartments in Kampala; Geotechnical Investigation for Proposed Developments in Nsambya
He also led the following:- Update of Environment and Social Impact Assessment for Kikagati Hydropower Company Limited; Conducting ESIA for ancillary works (Access Roads, Workers Camp and Quarry Site) and Resettlement Action Plan studies for the project; Topographic Survey located in Northern Uganda, on the Achwa River, about 11 Km North of the bridge on the road Gulu-Kitgum; Geotechnical Investigations of Achwa HPP3 Plant, located in Northern Uganda, on the Achwa River, about 11 Km North of the bridge on the road Gulu-Kitgum; Updating Resettlement Action Plan for a 7.65MW hydroelectric power plant (HEPP) on Kyambura River; Prefeasibility study of Mwondo HPP and Rwondo HPP on River Mwogo and Rwondo respectively in Rwanda; Environment and Social Impact Assessment for multiple pic hydropower schemes in western Uganda; Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of Andibo Dam, Panyango Sub-County in Nebbi District; Detailed Baseline Study on Renewable Energy sources in Uganda with particular basis on biogas use and consumption.
