FINASP carries out applied, basic and experimental research in agriculture, natural resource management, education, health and related fields. We work on our own and with partners, so that what we learn is tested on real farms and in real communities, and then put to use.

We study how land, forests, wetlands and water can be used and protected fairly, for people and for the environment.
Education
We look at what training and learning approaches work best, so skills programs reach the people who need them most.
Health
We seek to understand the health challenges rural households face, and what works to prevent and treat them.
